Kort Come!

Tonight at obedience class we worked on getting faster recalls through fun motivation, Amanda took this video of Kort's recall, I called him, then hid behind the castle, he had so much fun, me too !!!

I love to see him tug! He's awesome! He tugs straight back without thrashing which is what they look for in Schutzhund dogs too. You should try tying a long rope to it, and let him win and trot around in a circle - Caden loves this - it's like a tug parade and with the rope you can keep it alive with a little pressure. Kort is a very neat dog. Love to see a collie doing this stuff so fast!

So fun! Are you training to compete in obedience? I love motivational obedience. My Danish-Swedish Farmdog is doing super and has great speed on his recalls and is having a really fun time in obedience. I might train Tatum for a CD eventually but.. she's my sweet rescue girl and getting her to heel and do stands for exam might be tough for her. :)
