Saturday In The Park

Thank goodness for Amanda.....she is able to rally us all together to do training. Today a bunch of us went to Henderson Lake to do some casual obedience work. The afternoon was perfect, the temperature was just right, & we had a super spot on the lawn away from most of the crowds, in the shade of some big trees!
I wasn't able to do much in the way of obedience however, it became very apparent that Kort needs alot more work in the focus department! Even Amanda & Kim gave it a try, not so easy huh guys! At least I know that I have to go out & do this more often in order to get Kort's focus back on me, instead of everything around him.

Even if he doesn't have focus, he's still my handsome baby boy! & I love him!......Here I am pleading my case with Kort..."if you just look at mommy, there will be a big reward!"These 3 pictures show how well I convinced Kort to focus on me!.....I had Perkins overnight so he came too, just to hang & visit!......This is Esmae, a young Aussie trying her best to distract Kort !......
