Now that Kort is a big boy I have decided to take down the last crate in the house! The bedroom kennel came down about a month ago, & he has been sleeping through out the entire night with no problems. I started leaving him out loose a couple of weeks ago when I go to work in the afternoons....all has been fine, sooooo, down it came today! Kort is not too happy with his bed being moved, he likes to lay in front of the window to watch his birds....hopefully he will get used to it in it's new spot.....if not, I'll just buy him another bed for in front of the window!
In case you are wondering why so many beds....Kort does not go on the furniture, he never has!!! He is my first collie to not want to sleep on the couch! So, if it means beds everywhere, so be it!

That is great...Jurnee was also out of his crate at 5 months old and he sleeps great through the night 8-9hrs...however, Faith is another story...
So since she has been spayed on Tuesday at 8 1/2mos old we took down her crate...not great as she is up alot and chases the cat even though we have a gate up at the end of the hallway...maybe some day we will know what a good nights sleep is again!!! ha ha ha!
ps; buy all the beds you want for Kort!
i think kort needs a big fluffy one.... :o)
